This department covers a broad spectrum of investigations and treatments of ailments ranging from infection to specific conditions such as asthma, hypertension, as well as general problems including weight management, smoking cessation, geriatric medicine and metabolic disturbances.
With the help of the state of art in-house laboratory service and the latest diagnostic equipment, they are able to provide a better evaluation and management of the patient.
Diabetes And Endocrinology
This Department deals with the following endocrine problems.
Diabetes Mellitus and related complications- It includes prevention of new case of diabetes, management of known diabetic patients, Juvenile or Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes in young and old people and its related complications, Gestational Diabetes and Diabetes due to other causes. There is regular conduction of Educational seminars and lectures for the patients. There is special programme on Management of Diabetes during Ramadan.
